Paper Piecing Workshop

Bonnie will be teaching this class and she loves paper piecing. It is going to be a great way to learn paper piecing and some different blocks
You will be amazed at how you can do this technique with small pieces of fabric.
You will be doing a block a week and have 52 done by December.
It is also fat quarter friendly so a good way to use them up.
Supply List:
- Sewing Machine in good working order - bring Manuel
- Machine Needles 90/14
- Open toe presser foot
- Book by Carol Doak "60 Fabulous Starts"
- Postcard or card stock to fold the paper back on the foundation before trimming
- Add a quarter ruler is an invaluable tool for pre-trimming the fabric pieces
- Paper Tape for repairs to patterns.
- 6x12 Ruler
- Rotary Cutter and Matt
- Flat head pins
- Thread 50 wt.
- Curved pointed snips, great for removing the top and bottom threads.
- Tweezers are very helpful (pulling bits of paper)
Block Size - Page 6 of the book gives details for various block sizes. make 4 copies per block
Fabric - Most of the blocks can be completed with a fat quarter.
