Materials
We recommend using real or faux leather to construct this bag. The bag can be made in one fabric, or you can use a contrast fabric for the handles, front overlay, and flap closure. Waterproof canvas, cotton, linen, or other similar materials of your choice can be used for the interior lining. If using cotton or linen for the lining, the pieces will need to be backed with woven interfacing like SF101, Wovenfuse, or other similar weight interfacing.

Decovil Light or your preferred stabilizer can be used to stabilize the bag. Decovil Heavy or your preferred stabilizer can be used to stabilize the bottom.

Materials List

• 3/4 yard of material for the exterior (one roll of 18” faux for the main color and ½ roll for the accent) 
• 1 yard of lining material
• 1 yard of woven interfacing if using cotton, linen, or other similar fabric for the lining
• 1/3 yard of Decovil Light stabilizer
• 4” x 11” of Decovil Heavy stabilizer
