Halloween Table Topper or Placemats - with Julie

Lets make some fun table toppers or placemats!
The size of your panels will determine how big your finished product will be. The one pictured is a 12" panel and finished size is about 18x18"
If your panel is square, your item will be square. If it's oblong, it will be oblong.
Supplies needed:
-Panel that can be cut into individual pieces. (Halloween, Fall, Christmas etc.)
-Coordinating fabric or muslin for the back of the panel piece.
-Foam stabilizer the same size as your middle panel piece for each one you make.
-Wonder Under if your foam stabilizer is not fusible.
-2 1/2" strips of fabric for edges. The more strips, the bigger it can be. Sample used 7 strips.
-2 1/4" strips of batting, enough for your edge strips. (a great way to use up all those scraps)
-Thread
-Sewing Machine that has a zig zag stitch and walking foot if you have one.
-basic sewing supplies.
