SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- USB 2.0
- Embroidery Needles 75/11
- OESD 5” E-Z SNIP
- Bobbin filled with The Finishing Touch bobbin embroidery thread (you should have received this with your machine)
- 505 Temporary Adhesive Spray
- T-Pins
- Pins
- Scissors
- Kit for class – purchase at class time
- Wooden Fingernail Sticks
- Your Aurora Machine, hoop, embroidery presser foot, and embroidery arm attachment
- Aurora manuals including Embroidery Manual

MAKING THE DESIGN ON YOUR MACHINE:
- Add Circle 010 using Frames, Page 3 Circle size to 3.27 for pattern.
- Add circle 010 size to 3.27
- Add circle 010 size to 3.16 for stitching down patch.
- Add soccer ball size smaller to 1.99” x 2.08” move straight up a bit below the circle.
- Go to Alphabet, Select 02, Select U, size M add, move to the left, size to .70 Choose color Red , move up or lower as needed rotate .10 until it is between the soccer ball and circle.
- Go to Alphabet, Select 02, Select S, size M add, move to the straight down, size to .70 Choose color White , move up or lower as needed.
- Go to Alphabet, Select 02, Select A, size M add, move to the right, size to .70 Choose color Royal Blue, move up or lower as needed rotate .10 until it is between the soccer ball and circle.
- Add last circle Frames, Circles, 002 size to 3.16. This will stitch out in a satin stitch to complete and cover patch edges.
FIRST HOOPING:
- Hoop Tear Away for pattern. Attach hoop and stitch out.
- Remove from hoop.
- Cut out circle from Tear Away barely outside of stitching.
- Pin with regular pins to Poly Patch and cut outside of stitching line. Be careful NOT to cut inside the stitching line.
SECOND HOOPING:
- Hoop Badge Master and Aqua Mesh USE T-PINS on right and left sides of hoop to keep stabilizers taunt.
- Stitch 2nd circle design for placement of Poly Patch.
- Place cut out Poly Patch Fabric on circle stitched.
- Using Wooden Stick keeping the circle edges down, while stitching the circle down.
- Proceed with stitching out the soccer ball, letters and final circle.
- Remove hoop from the machine, cut away as much stabilizer as possible WITHOUT cutting your thread edges or embroidery stitches on the back. Wash away the remaining stabilizers.
- Using a piece of SCRAP cotton, PRESS (not iron) the patch.
- Cut or burn any extra threads away.
- Cut a circle of Fuse N Seal using circle pattern cut it so that it is just inside of the satin stitch PRESS onto patch.
TAAAAAA DAAAAAA you just made your first badge or patch.
